A beautifully decorative vintage 9ct yellow gold 3-bar gate bracelet with a front fastening heart padlock, complete with a real keyhole.
Hailing from the 1970s this is a dainty and feminine bracelet in a classic sweetheart style popular since Edwardian times. Gate bracelets are so called because the long and short links resemble the horse paddock gates and fences seen dotted around the British countryside. A lovely piece that deserves to be worn again!
The bracelet has delicate fancy links with a nice long safety chain and is fully hallmarked. It is in good vintage condition showing signs of moderate wear, the gold has worn a little thin on the end rings and there are a few dings as expected in a thin gauge gold bracelet of this age (we have priced accordingly), please see the photos. The padlock works properly and closes securely
