Pretty and dainty this vintage 1920s Art Deco necklet features graduated duck egg blue glass beads and rolled gold thick gauge wire, a classic Czech necklace of the period, although not signed.
The beads are speckled and are a beautiful shade, a soft greenish blue also called Rococo blue, a color that invokes the French style. This is a very close fitting necklace a 'necklet' that is worn at choker length, it measures 15" end to end and and fastens with a shepherds hook. The beads graduate from 8mm to 15mm in size. Condition is excellent with no chipping to the glass beads and no wear to the rolled gold so it still looks like solid gold.
Beautiful piece, best for a slender neck, perfect for the wedding bride as something blue or any other special occasion.
