A very unusual and striking vintage sterling silver locket. Oval in shape, the locket is puffy and a fairly large size so there is plenty of room for larger photos and other precious keepsakes.
The front is engraved and embossed in an interesting Art Deco influenced design with stylized arched elements. The back is left mirror smooth. The locket opens from the side to reveal two deep compartments. The picture rings are fixed in place so photos simply tuck underneath to hold them in place.
We have added a new heavy gauge sterling silver chain that is nice and long at 24". Our chains are made in Italy, they are high quality and are oxidised to impart an antiqued finish which is perfect for wear with these older lockets.

CONDITION: Very good vintage condition with expected signs of surface wear and age, please see photos. The hinge is heavy duty and in perfect working order and the locket closes tightly with a very satisfying snap.
