A massive vibrant blue topaz of at least 15 carats graces this super stylish cocktail ring hallmarked for London 1969.
Retro styling on a grand scale the ring is crafted in thick buttery 9ct yellow gold. The topaz is a pale sky blue with an incredible brilliance and it is step cut in an slender oval shape that is wonderfully flattering on the hand. The stone is held aloft in a open high basket crown setting with split claws and wide fanned shoulders framing its glacial beauty.
The topaz has been verified as genuine using a Presidium Gemstone Tester and it has a very clean clarity with minimal inclusions.
A magnificent cocktail ring of statuesque proportions, iconic of the London look in the swinging 60's and 70's!
