A juicy red rose cut Bohemian garnet framed by a halo of sparkling paste 'diamonds' grace this lovely vintage 1950s flower ring.
The ring is two tone, a 9ct yellow gold band with the stones set into a sterling silver basket, a technique seen in older rings when setting the stones in gold would have created an undesirable yellow cast on the colourless pastes.
The silver basket setting has a lovely scalloped edge and a scroll work under gallery adding to the decorative appeal. Slim nipped golden shoulders tapering to a slightly wider band complete this lovely feminine ring.
