A beautiful vintage carved jadeite jade Guanyin pendant. Guanyin is a female Chinese goddess associated with compassion. The jade is a lovely apple green colour marbled with white, a type of jade sometimes called "moss-in-snow". The figure is beautifully carved and signed by the artist on the reverse in Chinese character marks.
The pendant is topped in a 9ct gold jump ring and we have added a new gold vermeil (gold plated sterling silver) 18"/45cm chain so this serene lady is ready to wear right out of the box!
