Hallmarked in 1977 this vintage heavy chunky silver curb chain bracelet is a top quality all original piece made by Fred Manshaw Ltd., a prominent manufacturing jewellers who were located in Hatton Garden, London from 1946 to 1986.
Weighing 52 grams the chain features very thick solid (not hollow) silver curb links and terminates in round end links that are soldered closed. The bracelet fastens with a decorative heart shaped padlock at the front complete with a real keyhole. No key is required to open the padlock, the hasp simply pushes in at the nub to open it and it swings back and locks closed with a solid click. A built in safety chain completes this impressive piece.
