Popular since Victorian times this classic vintage English silver bangle bracelet by Charles Horner is chased and engraved on the front in an pretty and feminine flower and fern design with intricate etched detailing.

Bearing hallmarks for 1966 it is crafted on the oval with a patterned front and a smooth back. It is hinged at the side with a sturdy secure hidden shovel clasp on the other and it still has the original safety chain. The bracelet comes in the vintage blue bracelet box as shown that has a velvet padded interior, perfect for storage and safe keeping.

The bracelet is sturdy, it measures 1/2 inch wide with an inner circumference of 7-1/2 inches and weighs 19 grams. ". Hallmarked: lion passant for 925 sterling silver, anchor city assay mark for Birmingham, date letter "R" for 1966. Also stamped with the makers mark "CH" for Charles Horner of Halifax, a renowned English jeweller and silversmith.
