Superb quality with exceptional engraving this vintage English silver wide bears 1958 hallmarks, so plenty of age on it too.
Victorian in style this is a wide heavy bracelet with a D-profile and it is wax filled to protect to the silver from denting if you inadvertently knock it whilst wearing it. It is engraved on the front in a beautiful floral pattern with the back left plain and it is crafted on the oval for comfort. It has a hinge at one side and a push in clasp on the other along with a safety chain.
The bracelet is in very, very good vintage condition, there are signs of wear as you would expect in any piece this age, faint surface scratches and a couple of minor dings but nothing untoward, please see photos (apologies for any dark reflections, the bracelet is highly reflective and difficult to photograph). The clasp in perfect working order closing with a solid snap.
Classically English this type of bracelet has been popular since Victorian times, they were a popular jewellery gift for sweethearts and wives and were often personalized with engraved names or initials on the plain back or inside
