A beautiful vintage English sterling silver locket hallmarked in 1982. Edwardian in style the locket is a pillowed oval shape with an elegant fan shaped fluted bale. The front is engraved in a pretty floral flourish and wiggle-work design and the back is left smooth. The locket opens from the side to reveal two compartments for precious photos along with 2 silver plastic picture rings. We have added a new Italian sterling silver anchor chain so this lovely piece is ready to wear right out of the box, the perfect vintage jewellery gift for a loved one or a nice little treat for yourself.
This vintage classic English locket is a perfect small to medium size, it is in very good condition showing just minor surface wear. Note any dark spots are reflections. The hinge is unworn and it closes tightly with a firm click.
