With English hallmarks for 1971 this beautifully crafted sterling silver vintage Victorian style curb chain bracelet has a heart padlock clasp.
The links are solid, not hollow and each curb link along with the round end rings is hallmarked with a lion passant for sterling silver, a sign of high quality.
The padlock is hallmarked too, and no key is required to open it, the clasp simply pushes in at the nub to open and it locks closed with a satisfying snap. The bracelet has the added benefit of its original decorative safety chain.
A lovely quality, classic piece of jewellery that never goes out of style, perfect for layering with your wrist mess or wearing alone as a signature piece. During the sentimental Victorian era these bracelets were often given to a sweetheart and they became a popular and enduring engagement gift.
