A beautiful antique Edwardian gypsy ring in luxurious 18ct gold that bears good clear Chester hallmarks for the year 1905.
Crafted in bright yellow buttery gold the ring has a gentle domed profile and boasts an ever popular diamond and sapphire combination. The trilogy of lovely gemstones nestle safely in beautiful bright cut 'guiding star' settings. The central diamond is an old mine cut and it is flanked at by rose cut sapphires in a beautiful cornflower blue colour. The gemstones have been tested and verified using a Presidium Gem Tester.
Gypsy rings are perennial favourites, we have no doubt that this is a ring you will want to wear forever. As an added bonus Chester hallmarks are particularly sought after, the assay office closed in 1962 resulting in these historically hallmarked pieces becoming very collectable.

HALLMARKS: stamped 'crown' and '18' for 18ct gold, '3 wheatsheaves & sword in a shield' for Chester, date letter 'E' for 1905, also stamped with an obscured makers mark

CONDITION: in very good condition with light age related wear and surface scratches as to be expected in an antique high carat gold ring but no real flaws.
