This very pretty and feminine antique 9ct gold Art Deco ring is set with a striking rectangular baguette-cut paste ruby gemstone in a vibrant raspberry red. The high-quality glass stone is accented top and bottom in two sparkling natural white zircons, each set in traditional bright-cut star settings. Zircon is a naturally earth-mined gemstone historically favoured in antique jewellery for its exceptional brilliance and fire, often used as a diamond substitute before the advent of modern simulants.
The distinctive coffin-shaped face is flanked by stepped shoulders in a crisp geometric design synonymous with the Art Deco era. It retains the characteristic flat profile of the period, gently curving around the finger for a comfortable and secure fit.
