Open backed the natural gemstone has feather inclusions deep within adding to its unique appeal and it is surrounded by a halo of sweet little pearl and turquoise gemstones set into in tall cupcake bezels.
Crafted in luxurious bright yellow high carat gold this pendant shows extraordinary quality gold-work. The fine cannetille that frames the pendant is so intricate with tiny twisted wire and millegrain beads arranged in mounded motifs that resemble old world beehives! The reverse shows the same attention to detail with a circle of domed gold cups enclosing the back of the small gemstones and 2 tiny pearls set in at 6 and 12 o'clock.
Topped with a dainty gold loop to suspend her from a fine gold chain this pendant is testament to the beauty of Georgian craftsmanship, and a collector's dream!
