Each delicate earring is set with five natural moonstone cabochons in open-backed bezel (spectacle) settings that allow light to pass through the stones, enhancing their enchanting blue adularescence. Elegant scrolling silverwork and bead accents frame the moonstones, creating an airy, botanical design that feels both timeless and romantic.
Suspended from sterling silver shepherd's hooks, the articulated drops sway gently with every movement, catching the light beautifully. The silver has retained its bright white finish exceptionally well over the years and shows no signs of tarnishing, suggesting it is rhodium plated.

MATERIALS: Sterling silver
GEMSTONE: Presidium-tested natural moonstones, ten round cabochons measuring approximately 5mm each (approximately 0.50 carats per stone), with an estimated total gemstone weight of around 5 carats.
MEASUREMENTS: 1¾" (4.5cm) overall length from the top of the hook; drop measures approximately 1⅜" (3.5cm); ⅝" (1.5cm) wide.
HALLMARKS: Stamped 925 on the hooks.
WEIGHT: 2.8 grams.
DATE: Estimated late 20th century, Art Nouveau Revival.
CONDITION: Excellent vintage condition. The moonstones display attractive blue adularescence, and the silver retains a bright white finish with no noted flaws.
