This sophisticated 1920s ring is a striking example of the bold and confident design of the Art Deco era. Crafted in 930 silver (a higher grade than sterling at 925) the ring features a sugar-loaf cut cabochon of Lapis Lazuli in a deep denim blue colour. The roof shaped lapis gemstone is mounted into an architecturally designed setting with tall columns studded in steely grey sparkling marcasite stones. A stepped profile that towers to a point adds even more to the eye-catching drama. We would love to attribute a good maker to this ring but it is simply stamped '935'. Likely German in origin it is reminiscent of Theodor Fahrner rings of the era. A truly remarkable period ring, high quality, it just screams Art Deco!
