This wonderful sterling silver pocket watch fob holds a dated 1897 silver shilling coin that commemorates Queen Victoria's diamond jubilee, 60 years a Queen!
Fashioned in a ships wheel design the coin is fully enclosed behind thick glass and framed in a silver mount that is decorated in rope trim and applied silver beads. Topped in a generously sized jump ring it will really catch the eye attached to a pocket watch chain, it's original intended purpose, or wear her as a pendant on a silver chain that matches her character.
A fabulous and historical piece, the British public worshipped Victoria and showed it by enthusiastically adorning themselves in coin jewellery that bore her image! Please note the chains shown are not included.

CONDITION: in very, very good antique condition showing light surface wear a little tarnish in hard to reach areas and no chips or cracks in the glass
