This antique gilt metal spinner fob is set with paste (glass) stones that imitate Scottish chalcedony's - spicy orange carnelian and forest green blood stone flecked in red. The fob is a fab example of classic Victorian gents jewellery and features an ornate yellow gold frame decorated in beads and rings. It is topped in a reeded built-in bale along with its original heavy duty jump ring. Perfect for wear as a necklace pendant or as originally intended on a pocket watch chain.
The fob is in very good condition with no wearing away of the gold gilding, there are surface scratches to the glass stones (more apparent under magnification than to the eye). The spinning mechanism works perfectly so you can spin away to your heart's content. A handsome unisex addition to any antique jewellery collection.
