This beautiful antique Victorian locket comes with its original chain and it is engraved on the front in a lovely and very detailed floral pattern.
Made of rolled gold which is a mechanically bonded layer of gold over a base metal, the gold is a lovely warm reddish hue which characteristic of old gold. The locket opens from the side to reveal 2 stations for photos along with paper & fabric liners and clear acetate photo covers. Both original picture frames are inside too. The matching chain is a traditional cable chain with sturdy oval links and it fastens with torpedo/barrel clasp.

CONDITION: both the locket and chain are in very good antique condition with some light wear and tarnish. The locket has a few faint surface scratches on the back as to be expected from a used antique item. Please see the photos. The locket closes tightly with a solid click, the chain clasp is in perfect working order and clicks shut too.
