A unique and very pretty antique hand painted enamel silver bracelet possibly a Victorian lady's souvenir purchased as a memento while travelling on a "Grand Tour" of Europe and visiting Venice.

The bracelet features 12 beautifully hand painted panels with various pastoral and floral scenes including one which looks like a Venetian canal. A lovely heart shaped painted enamel charm dangles elegantly over your hand when worn and because it is positioned at the clasp, we think this was meant to be worn at the back of the hand near the pulse point, distinctive and utterly charming!

The panels have a curved profile on the front and are connected together with silver rings and the bracelet fastens with a screw and tube clasp. It is in very good antique condition with minimal, if any loss to the enamel. The back of the bracelet shows more signs of age and wear with tiny surface dents in the silver as you would expect in an antique piece of jewellery that has been worn. The screw clasp works as it should and fastens securely, the screw is fixed into the tube so you don't inadvertently lose it.

Feminine and romantic a must have for the antique jewelry lover, it would make a charming gift for a sweetheart or loved one!
