Bearing English hallmarks for 1975 this beautiful vintage sterling silver locket is engraved on the front and back in an ornate Victorian design. A fern flourish and forget-me-not flowers are framed in a pretty twisted silver ribbon border. The locket has an elegant flat profile, it is slim from the side and it has a decorative reeded fan-shaped bale.
The front of the locket is deeper and houses a silver photo frame, black satin liner and acetate photo cover. The back is more shallow but would still accommodate a photo using a glue dot or double sided tape to anchor it.

CONDITION: despite her being a 50 year old lady this locket remains in excellent condition with minimal wear and she closes tightly with a solid snap.
