This pretty and feminine vintage sterling silver dragonfly pendant is beautiful modelled and decorated in sapphire blue and emerald green plique a jour enamel. Plique-à-jour (French for "letting in daylight") is style of enameling in which transparent enamels are fused into open cells to produce a stained glass effect.
Lovely quality the top of the pendant is finished in a ribbed fan-shaped bale and it suspends from a sterling silver fine twisted rope chain. Despite being a fairly dainty size this pendant is solidly built so it's not flimsy and lightweight.
