This elegant feminine vintage necklace is collar/choker length and showcases 35 beautiful spherical baroque pearls in a gorgeous creamy ivory colour.
The pearls are slightly irregular in shape as you would expect from freshwater pearls so no two are identical and they differ gently in size. The pearls have a lovely iridescent golden shimmer and they are hand-knotted on ivory silk necklace thread that is finished at the ends in calotte crimp beads and the necklace fastens with a traditional sterling silver filigree fish hook clasp.
Steeped in old world charm this necklace necklace is in very, very good vintage condition. The pearls are free of surface wear and just show the natural irregularities and ridges that are expected in natural pearls. The silk thread shows no signs of deterioration and the clasp is in perfect working order.
Elegant with a jaunty nod to luxury this real pearl necklace is the ideal length for wear with most necklines as it will always be visible, fabulous for bridal wear!
