An exquisite antique 9ct gold and paste diamond trilogy ring. Representing 'past, present and future' the 3 stone trilogy ring was a popular choice of engagement ring in the Edwardian and early Deco era.
The antique paste stones are superb and have all the appearance of the finest of bright white diamonds. The ring is two tone, 9ct yellow gold for the band with the stone setting in white silver, an antique jewellery technique used for rings before the advent of white gold, coloured gold tended to create an undesirable yellow reflection on the clear stones.
The stones are claw set in a high rex white mount that allows lots of light behind to further enhance the sparkle and the shoulders are accented with white milgrain beading.

CONDITION: Excellent with expected signs of age but minimal wear, the stones are free of flaws with no damage to the claws, this ring has been very well cared for.
