This perfectly formed little antique Georgian 9ct rose gold brooch showcases a unique Scottish carnelian/agate gemstone. The salmon red stone is an oval shape with a gently pillowed profile. It is semi-translucent and spotty with a misty silver-grey centre and banding around the edges.
Set into a rich rosy gold bezel and secured in tiny beaded claws that add a subtle decorative element this is a refined and minimalist piece of Georgian Scottish Pebble jewellery!
