A fabulous antique Art Deco necklace crafted from rich yellow rolled-gold long bar links, beautifully paired with bold black and white faceted Czech crystal beads.
The design showcases an eye-catching mix of round and rounded cube-shaped faceted beads along the chain, culminating in a larger cube-cut crystal drop pendant. It fastens with a decorative shepherd’s hook clasp, and at approximately 17½ inches, it sits elegantly at the collarbone—ideal for complementing a wide variety of necklines.
Rolled gold (gold-filled) jewellery is produced by mechanically bonding a substantial layer of gold over a base metal. Far thicker and more durable than standard gold plating—with the gold layer comprising at least 1/20 of the total metal weight—it offers a long-lasting, richly coloured finish that retains its warm golden lustre.
A glorious, all-original Jazz Age piece in wonderful antique condition, showing only light surface wear and no visible chips to the glass. Any dark areas seen are reflections.
