Hallmarked in 1972 this beautifully ornate 9ct yellow gold ring is set with 3 deep ruby red garnets and 4 sparkling white zircon gemstones. Not to be confused with cubic zirconia which are synthetic, white zircons are natural earth-mined gemstones that have long been used as diamond substitutes in jewellery because of their strong double refraction.
Very much in the Victorian style, the gemstones are held high in a wide carved gold scrollwork boat setting giving her a luxurious deep profile and impressive finger coverage.
A beautiful and feminine antique style ring January's birthstone, she has enough character to wear on her own and looks fab stacked with other rings.

GEMSTONES: Presidium tested. 3 round garnets, centre stone 5mm diameter (0.75ct), side stones 4mm (0.50ct) each giving a TWC of approx. 1.75cts. 4 white zircon accent stones 0.05ct each
RING SIZE: M (UK), 6-1/4 (US) with sizing available for an additional fee
MEASUREMENTS: Face measures 3/4" (2cm) across, 1/2" (0.8cm) top to bottom. Band 2.3mm wide. Ring profile stands 4.5mm from the finger.

HALLMARKS: stamped '9-375' for 9ct gold, 'anchor' for Birmingham, date letter 'X' for 1972 and 'KR' makers mark
