Brimming in patriotic pride this beautiful late Art Deco era sterling silver enamel bracelet bears London hallmarks for the year 1945 along with a British design registration number.
A quality piece crafted in thick gauge silver it features seven circular discs with Britannia and Tudor Rose motifs decorated in vibrant royal blue guilloche engraved enamelling. The discs are connected with heavy duty jump rings and the bracelet fastens with a hidden box clasp so the design forms a continuous circle around the wrist.
The patriotic theme along with 1945 hallmarking hints this piece might have been made to commemorate victory in World War II. Britannia is the national personification of Britain and the Tudor Rose is the floral heraldic emblem of England.

HALLMARKS: stamped 'lion passant' for sterling and 'leopard head' for London on each disc. Also stamped ‘W&S’ makers mark, date letter ‘K‘ for 1945, & design number ‘REG 8452142’
DATE: late Art Deco, circa 1945
CONDITION: in excellent vintage condition showing just light wear and no loss to the enamel. Note any dark spots are reflections. The clasp is in perfect working order and fastens with a satisfying click.
