A beautiful antique hand-painted portrait miniature of a stately Victorian lady resplendent in her elegant black satin mourning dress. Providing us a fascinating glimpse into the past she wears a long gold guard chain necklace, a bar brooch, pearl earrings and wonderful wire rimmed spectacles.
The water colour portrait is beautifully painted and housed behind glass in an elegant rolled gold pendant frame, with the original cream velvet backing to the reverse.
