Hallmarked in London in 1996 this stunning Toi et Moi 9ct gold vintage ring is crafted in a classic bypass (crossover) style and boasts two large earth-mined white zircons that have a superb brilliance and incredible sparkle. Often indistinguishable from top quality diamonds zircons are naturally double-refractive, they bend light in two directions, creating a lively fire and the illusion of even more facets than the stone actually possesses.
The round colourless zircons are bright white with a very clean clarity. They lie side by side in a substantial gold setting with the shoulders embellished in a further three accent zircons that enhance the graceful line of the design and add even more impact. Crowns of 8 claws tipped in white gold hold the principal stones high allowing the maximum amount of light to shine through adding even more sparkle.
Not to be confused with cubic zirconia which are synthetic man-made stones, zircons are an ancient natural gemstone, they are the oldest mineral known to man and have been prized for millennia because of their natural sparkle and beauty.
